You may wish you'd had more pleasant weather in which to enjoy your trip but I couldn't ask for a more beautiful photo! I love this landscape shot. And what an inspiring place from which to view the greatest Great Lake?! I have never adventured into this peninsula before. Now I am thinking I definitely need to!

Wow! Beautiful. :-) I am having a hard time deciding whether I like this shot or your other one best! In thumbnail form I thought the other one was most striking but this is the one I am adding to my favorites. It is just so very beautiful. The thick blanket of snow. The monochromatic trees standing still in the quiet of winter. The grey faded silhouette of a hill in the background faintly visible thanks to winter's dormancy. Just beautifully done. Not to mention the linear light and shadows playing downslope on the undulating snow! Like very much! :-)
