Thank you so much for taking the time to write and share you thoughts and family history related to this windmill. I am delighted that my photo brought back some happy memories for you!
Well you really took the Scenic Route...lol. I've got to get up here someday and get a Killer Panormaic Shot of the Lake with the Great Western Divide in the Background:)
I would be happy to let you publish this photograph. The only problem is I
am currently on vacation and will not have access to the original until
Sunday or Monday. I can send it to you then, if that's ok.
Hi!
Nice photograph, a very interesting shot!
Next year, I am going to the States. Your region seems quite a nice place. Can you tell me anything about it?
Regards from a faraway and rainy Poland
The SOI graduation is nowhere near what the boot camp ceremony is. It was very short -- probably 20 minutes or so as I recall, and attendance was pretty light. Afterward we got to have lunch in the SOI cafeteria, and then he had to depart for his duty station. It was short, but I was glad I went. I'm about a 5 hour drive away though, so it wasn't a big deal or major expense to drive down. Send me an email at jeff.daniels@muniservices.com. I'm always happy to chat with other Marine parents. Oh, and thanks to your son for his service to our country!
Jeff Daniels's conversations
Almost as antiquated as the gas pumps there.

Excellent shot of Miller. I would love to hear about your trip to this Brewers game at http://www.fromthisseat.com.
I need to catch the train from CHicago up to Milwaukee and check out this stadium, it looks amazing.

Thank you! It's a really beautiful scene in springtime each year.
Yes, that is correct. On the 5, heading North into the San Joaquin Valley.
