Thanks for the additional information Peter. It is apt that the Berkely Tavern has been chosen as it was a biker pub back in the 70s.

One story Mike told us over a cup of tea was how he was one day trundling along the promenade in his wheelchair, when he hit a bump, causing his "spare" leg to fall off. Apparently just at that moment a family with two young girls were walking the other way. He told us gleefully that the look of horror on the faces of the girls suggested many years of trauma to come.

Ah, Mike.... I have spent hours reading through your comments on photos, laughing and welling up at the same time.

We will be there to see you off on Monday, marra.

Really vivid colours and good composition. I'm always a fan of boats in photographs. Like and Faved.

Senja and Troms sounds good... We missed this part of Norway, as we went from Finmark (Krasjok, Lakselv, Nordkapp, Alta...) to Sweeden (Kiruna, Abisko). We did only small part of Troms commune when we passed Narvik on E10 from Abisko and before we enter Lofoten and Vesteralen via Tjelsundbrua. Well next time, with the stop at the place 10 minutes from Lopsvika. ;-)

I guess water was dropping from the shoe strings...

And thanks Fairy for remembering it!

Nice bad guy... As bad as nice guys are! ;-)

Yes Amelia, that's right! :-))

I think it's still there. At least it was there at Christmas Eve 2013. :-))

NO, Steve, this hasn't happened in maybe 2 - 3 years...wonder why it stopped popping up in damp weather?? great to see you back here in my front yard Steve.

Warmest wishes, SarahX
