What a fantastic vista - surprised Google Earth didn't select it because although the landscape has changed radically since this photo was taken the terrace is still there and confusion could be avoided by the simple device of implementing a local history filter. :)

I find buildings especially tallish ones difficult(perspective issues) to compose satisfactorily but what you have done here is really inspiring. :)
Excellent composition and use of HDR techniques - a great shame this pier now looks destined for being demolished.
