The weather was great. There were extremes... I remember there were times when I wish I had more than a jacket when starting out in the mornings, and then there were afternoons spent in the shade of a gas station canopy drinking bottle after bottle of water. We only got wet once, and that was in Colorado. We got really lucky. It made the trip that much more enjoyable.
