This is my current favorite of the numerous Taj photos on Google Earth. I'm not so sure about the "rubbish dump" in the title, though. One can find this level of plastic refuse in all manner of places in India.
Hello Kevin, you made a wise decision on An Gearanach, I think. I didn't complete the 5 Sisters either, I'm afraid. I did this walk 6 months after major surgery and I hadn't recovered full stamina. We started at Bealach an Lapain and by the time we reached Sgurr Fhuaran I had had enough, so we went down the west ridge and walked along the glen to Shiel Bridge. I think we took about 6 hours for the whole walk. The best of luck for your attempt.
gimp for mac or pc?.. anyway look for the main stuff first.. thats levels"" colour brightness contrast etc... levels is like a graph of the pic... the middle arrow is your first adjustment,, also,, if your camera can shoot raw files switch to that and use the raw importer that comes with gimp... all the vague stuff about gimp??? like layers and flattening image??? how they work?? gimp makes a new pic everytime you change something so when you work on several things in a pic you need to flatten the image into one at the end... i forget if there are tutorials but i,m sure theres guidance out there
