Hi,
Thanks for the Flag Creek picture. This creek was a huge part of my childhood. In the winter we would ice-skate from Spring Rock Pt. all the way to I-55. We played hockey under 55th St. In the summer we would canoe it. We rode motorcycles up and down this creek for miles. We would walk through it at Timber Trails Golf Course to collect and sell golf balls. All the neighborhood kids would build forts along the creek and we’d battle it out. It was sad when they started to develop. I always thought they would pipe it at some point and fill it all in. I’m glad to see that hasn’t happened at least.
