I'm not a surfer, but that area, particularly Williamson's Beach, site of the desalination plant, apparently has world class surf. I can at least say that the beaches are empty

Angrypenguinstwo I didn't know this, it would be a crime to destroy this wonderful site. It is so beautiful as is most of the coastline in Victoria. I know we are in a terrible state with water shortages and we have to do something but it would be a disaster to destroy the coast line and jeopardise the wildlife......They are doing their best to do that in Port Philip Bay with the dredging! I'll take a look at the website you've given me.
