Idle Moor's conversations

Biology Wizard (or anyone else who may be able to help, for that matter), do you know who did this painting, and when, or anything else about it? I'd be really interested to find out more about it. My reasons are benign and wholesome, Scouts Honour!

A nice record shot. I remember it well.

Excellent shot!

A very nice tranquil setting

I remember as a child that the little old lady used to sell fresh goat's milk. You could have it cold or warm and warm was more-or-less straight from the goat! I used to train for cross-country in this area and go for walks on weekends with my parents, as we lived nearby. I love the area and it's such a shame that they no longer sell such products there (I suppose health & safety will have put paid to the warm goat's milk, anyway!).

Amazing view, we visited lake louise in september on the way to the Athabasca glacier.Did not get to see a great view like this due to poor weather conditions.

St Paul's is the original (1826) parish church of Shipley.

This photo makes me want to be there. Great view, good light, simply well done.

Looks like a wonderful walk.
