From Wikipedia: a bench is a piece of furniture, wich mostly offers several persons seating.
This usual (public) function may be (and appear) the main one. But...looking, thinking, sleeping, loving, praying, crying, enjoying etc...) may be the very intimate (real) actions!!!
When we were children, sometimes we get an old toy to telling us its history....then every child tells his (her) own story....and projects himself in the glamour of an old, ancient, often mysterious world. To me, the Imagine of a bench is similar and is telling me the life of many people. Like a Camera...

Questo per la cronaca, per il resto ricordiamoci che fotografi che vediamo qui, non sono da meno di fotografi professionisti, con una differenza: hanno anche loro competena, grande genialità e creatività e, sopratutto, mi sembra di distinguere una buona dose di umiltà. E ho visto Giulio Colla felice...

In effetti, Antonio, anche se mi è sembrato meno medievale di Notre Dame.E' una questione di atmosfera.
Cristian, il mio forte è l'inquadratura, perchè per la tecnica... Però ci sto molto attenta, cerco di dare le foto al meglio. Questa me la sono trovata davanti all'improvviso, con la luce che cambiava.
