Jardine Hall (1930), on the campus of Wichita State University, was the second building completed by the then Municipal University of Wichita. The resolution to change the name to Jardine Hall was passed July 1, 1949 but was inadvertently not reported until after Jardine's death.

Offices for the Alumni Association, the Board of Trustees, and the WSU Foundation (the former Endowment Association) were located in a variety of campus facilities prior to the completion of Woodman Alumni Center in 1989. A challenge grant of $500,000 from alumni K.T. and Mary Inez Woodman allowed construction of a building on the Braeburn Golf Course, adjacent to the new University Welcome Center. The building was designed to house the business activities of the three groups plus conference rooms and social areas with views of the golf course.

The $5.3 million Engineering Research Laboratory Building at Wichita State University was opened in 2007. The facility, which contains 10 engineering research laboratories, is the first phase of the project, with a second building to come at a yet-to-be-determined date.

Three columns from the Morrison Carnegie Library grace the 17th Street and Fairmount Avenue entrance to Wichita State University. The columns were salvaged from a 1964 fire that destroyed the building. They were placed in 1973 at as a reminder of the Carnegie legacy on the Wichita State University campus. From 1911 to 1939, the Morrison Carnegie Library served the faculty, staff and students of Fairmount College and its successor, the University of Wichita. After a new library was constructed in 1939, art and journalism classes were held in the building until its destruction.

Wallace Hall, on the campus of Wichita State University, houses administrative offices and classrooms for the WSU College of Engineering.

Wichita brothers Frank and Dan Carney founded the Pizza Hut empire in Wichita in 1958. The original Pizza Hut building was moved to the Wichita State University campus to serve as a symbol and reminder to students that individuals can, through hard work and initiative, rise to positions of leadership and success. The building was dedicated on campus Sept. 11, 1986.

Devlin Hall, opened in 1989, houses Wichita State University's Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Economic Development and Business Research. Both are programs of the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The building also provides classrooms, a small auditorium, and seminar rooms. It was named in recognition of Wichita entrepreneur Tom Devlin, founder of Rent-A-Center.
