You do have important color changes in Georgia on fall seasons even being south as you are..!? I'm quite surprise. That was taken Nov 1st..

You seem to be relatively high on this picture.. Did you hike up there? From what I think I see on the map, you could even go higher up the mountain.. There also seem to be a little pond in that hole with no trees below..

You have beautiful landscapes in Georgia my friend! =)
