Not more than 10 miles as the crow flies. The mountains that include Reddish Knob separate the two sites.

This looks like the Lovers Leap area, you can walk the trail from Hone Quarry up to Oak Knob, to Pond Knob, to Meadow Knob. All in all not a bad walk.
