Très belle petite guêpe.. LIKE
Never thought of it that way, but I think you're right. Thanks!
Yup... Thought it fit the photo... Thanks for dropping by....Q
Thanks for the compliment Mohammad. This photo was pure luck. I didn't want to the use the flash for fear that it might distract the juggler - he's tossing flaming torches! At just the right moment, someone in the audience flashed the juggler, and I captured the scene. The juggler, who hails from New Zealand, is a good entertainer and I hope to see him at the park in the future.
Thanks for your visit Mohammad. Yes, I took this with a 60 mm macro lens (AF-S Micro Nikkor 60 mm 1:2.8G), which is one of my two favorite lenses. There are always plenty of bees collecting pollen in these flowers. I hand-hold the camera about 30 to 45 cm away from the flowers, and take about 100 to 200 photos of the bees using the continuous shooting mode while using autofocus to keep the bees in focus. About 10% of the photos are decent, and most of them show the bees' rear ends. I couldn't do this with film or my old Kodak Easyshare - I love digital SLR's!
Merci pour votre visite. Salutations de Californie.
