Roger, thank you very much for the correction! Now I recognise the two turns. I remember that it was taken on the west side of the continental divide, going toward Aspen, but then it was not straightforward to find the right place on the map. I took the photo Sunday 26 June 1988 and I loaded it in 2007, 19 years later, but I was close to the right point. I was for business in Denver with colleagues and we decide to go up there, taking only one car we rent, a Subaru 1600, and it was very slow to go up to the pass. Thank you for the comment. Greetings. This is a beautiful photo. I live here and I can say that you were correct in your initial statement, this is indeed the Continental Divide. I should know. I live in this area and drive over Loveland Pass often to ski. Loveland Pass goes over the mountains in your photo and they are part of the Continental Divide. My home overlooks these beautiful, majestic peaks.
