This is "Patriot" from the World Bird Sanctuary. I took this pic at Alton at one of their Raptor Bird shows. The Sanctuary should be on everybodies places to visit.

It is the radar station for the old Nike missle base that used to be inside Marquette Park. It was in use during the 50s and 60s and abandoned in the late 60s. The rest of the base is near the top of the hills in the park.
