View of Claverton Down, Bathwick Hill,
from South Parade, Bath
These sheep are quite tough. They're actually begging for apple cores and the like.
Since I've had questions about the trip, here is the trip map.
My writeup is on http://asterix.cs.gsu.edu/blog I would have explored a little more up north into coyote creek on the last day. With all the rain you've had, I'd be a little concerned about crossing the creeks - be prepared to wade a bit (maybe). Take your time on the hills and have a blast.
I was there on the summer of 2009 that view actually started a fight between an advisor and one of the scouts
This shows where I spent my weekend before CASP9
Many of the other photos from Los Cruzeros are at the bottom of the ridge in the foreground.
As the fog lifted I started back to the ranger station. This is part way up to Jackass peak.
Did somewhere between 29 & 25 miles (29 by GPS, 27 by trail map additions, 25 by google earth) miles on 2 half-day and 1 full day strolls. Used lightweight fastpacking techniques. My pack was probably just over 20 lbs when leaving the ranger's office at the start.
