Yes it is the old Shorts slipway. It was built to launch their larger class flying boats. The Boathouse is complete now, you can see more if you go to www.medwaytownsrowingclub.co.uk.

Southampton's New Ocean Terminal opened for it's first passanger liner on the 9th May 2009 - this picture is from the following day when everyone had gone home and the berths were empty.
