Hi, I started taking photos with a borrowed camera during an overland journey from England to India in 1975. Whilst there a friend and I did some trekking in Nepal (my profile picture being one of the first). I've been an early and keen member of Panoramio since Jan 2007. I am interested in using this image for a book, Art in England: 600-1600. Would you be willing to allow me the use of a high resolution image? Would there be a charge? I would certainly give you credit, but my photo budget is severely limited. with best wishes, Sara James USA

Selected picture because of my farm background
Like Batman and Robin - the dynamic duo!

As kids we named two of them Andy and Able
I guess later they found there way to our table

Thanks Stephen. We found Hawkshead to be lovely when we stayed there a few years ago. I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.

All I can say then is that they have done well to last this long!

Spectacular and extraordinary architecture, i like it. Cheers from Germany, Thomas

Great composition!
Ciao, Paolo

It's amazing how far digital cameras have improved at contrasty situations like this one. I too recently bought a Sony digital - the Alpha A3000 (Nex lens system) and I'm quite impressed with the quality.

This is a super shot with the rickety fence taking us into the shot.
