Hi, I started taking photos with a borrowed camera during an overland journey from England to India in 1975. Whilst there a friend and I did some trekking in Nepal (my profile picture being one of the first). I've been an early and keen member of Panoramio since Jan 2007. Please free free to delve deep into the many and varied photos here, tags can be helpful to find places and things of interest. Greetings Z.

Thank you Roy for your visit and comment. Jesond Dene can be quit eattractive a various times of the year. They have recently however felled quite a few trees which create quite large gaps in places.

Thank you Horsefeathers for your visit and comment. I'm pleased the photos remind you of your memorable visit.

We didn't cross to the north side. Is that door as small as it appears? Nice detail.

We were here a few weeks ago Stephen and I shot mainly film, so I don't know what turned out yet. You got some good ones. Great stuff!

Very beautiful picture. LIKE.

Liam WOW WOW!!!! Stunning reflections and colors. This is so wonderful shot. Like90!! Best greetings from Finland to USA :-))) Markus

I'am very saddened Palmina to hear you've broken your ankle again. Could I wish you a speedy and full recovery. Was it possibly the Marsden Grotto or nearer Whitburn. Street view has the Whitburn Lodge further towards Sunderland. But loads of pubs have closed since all the pit closures. Thank you again for your visits- I'am busy getting some photos of Warden (Hexham) and Haltwhistle ready for upload possibly starting later today. Take care and look after yourself.
