This may sound weird, but I think I vandalized a cliff face with a chisel at this location when I was a teeneger. It was a display of affection for my girlfriend and future mother to my son.
This happened way back in 1986, if I recall. I think I even dated it - I can't tell if this is the exact area, but do you ever return to this spot? Have you ever seen any carved graffiti on your photo safaris here?
I was attending college in Bellingham at the time, and have since moved far away.
I had always hoped to find it again and remove the traces, as I realized since that it was a horrible thing to do.
