The inscription on the pedestal says "AND MARY SET OUT, PROCEEDING IN HASTE... LK 1:39." That indicates to me that the statue is of Mary.

Thank you. This was taken on frozen Mud Lake at the coldest day, and so tree shadows looked like slits. Michigan starts getting better weather now. I hope that you will enjoy taking Panoramio photos in warm.
