YEY! Santa tracking has been brilliant - he sped over the UK though! More snaps next time here please! Love and twinkle from all in the UK!
I enjoyed browsing through your pictures of Switzerland. I am from Bern and your Fasnachts Fotos are wonderful. My parents moved to Pully, not far from Epesses and Cully.
Your photography is impecable I just wanted to put a little Light into the village. I hope you forgive me. I will remove it quickly.
Just to confirm that the position challenges are of merit. The Hotel Del is almost a mile Southeast of your position marker.
thanks for you comment ion this....
it's 4 years ago since i've been to coronado. so it's a bit difficult to locate this house in google earth... ;o)
You have the correct picture of the 'Crown Manor' here, I did not see this one earlier, hence my comment on your 'Loma Avenue persperctive'. The gray solid gates replaced the lovely wrought iron gates as a security measure for the Clinton's vacation here on the insistence of the Secret Service. You can see the same gate design and solid construction on the Loma Ave. 'service' entrance.
P.S. Larry usually hosted celebrities and dignitaries at the Hotel Del Coronado, where he would use their stay to promote the property in news coverage and press releases! The Clintons stayed at the Hotel several times before they vacationed in the Crown Manor.
The Tudor mansion in the right foreground (1007 Ocean Blvd) is NOT the 'Crown Manor' (1015 Ocean Blvd) formerly owned by Larry & Shelea Lawrence.
Larry was also the owner of the Hotel Del Coronado and Ambassador to Switzerland. For your reference I will upload pictures of the 'Crown Manor' and the connected carriage house with the service entrance on Loma Ave, from where your picture was taken. It is Visible in your picture on the far left. Whenever Clinton was here, Loma Avenue was closed off and served as staging area for the convoy and press.
