Heinz Steiner's conversations

Looks like a very cool place, like.

Thank you for your comment. As you see there are a great many (over 70) and I am in the process of mapping them. Some are under restoration. There is a concern that the seismic retrofit of the bridge has been changed and not sure if safety is compromised.

Thanks for your comment, Balboa Park is especially rewarding this time of year.

Hello fastech, Welcome to the Streetcars, Trolleys and Subways Group and thank you for your uploads.

At present we limit our pictures to those listed in the title. Buses that are connected to an overhead electrical supply are considered 'Trolley-buses' and as such would qualify. At this time, internal combustion powered buses (Diesel, Gas, LNG and LPG) are not included. Should a popular demand develop, we may expand, but at this time, it is either rail or overhead connected only. Sorry if I was not specific on that.

Thanks for the effort. I keep these old panoramas from MS Photodraw 2000 in my gallery for memory´s sake. Actually I do like the handmade weird picture-in-picture compositions of Photodraw, which are at present quite hard to make. A pity that MS has made the Photodraw program impossible to start up under XP,Vista, Windows 7. Perhaps, in the far future, I will redo these Photodraw panoramas.

Nado, it's majic, but you pointed out I need to change the date/time, it was taken today March 21 at around 7:45 in the morning & I will correct it. Where do you live?

Good reflection, like.

Très belle photo. LIKE

Hi NadoHeinz,Thank you for your comments! Pier 39 is no more in Fisherman's Wharf maps? I thoght still...by the way the picture have now a more specific title thanks to your suggestion. Best regards from Miami!

Hi, amazing light on that impressing scenery, LIKE! And I was happy to read your interesting remarks about the Marzili cable car in Bern :-) I think it is still the same system, and by the way: in the neighbor city Fribourg there is a very similar cable car with even older technology -- heard about this one, too? Best regards from Switzerland, Felix
