This spring feed lake supplies the city of Syracuse New York with its water. Treatment of water isn't needed due to the pure spring water.

Former name was Syracuse University Research Corp. Name was change during the Vietnam war do to war protesters. Company was then located on the University south campus area before moving to Hancock International Airport on Malden Rd, then to North Syracuse where a new building was built.

That is NOT a picture of anywhere in Upstate New York. It is actually a photo of huge snow drifts that closed the Trans Labrador Highway between Red Bay and Lodge Bay from February to April 2004 located in Labrador, Canada. Here is the link: Google
