on Google Maps
I have enjoyed posting photos on Panoramio and seen them displayed on Google Earth and Google Maps for many years. Since my last batch has not been displayed on Google Earth, I haven't downloaded any more. Maybe GE don't want to maintain Panoramio any more, but they have virtually lost me. Maja Go - Many thanks for your visit into my photo-gallery and your comment – Best regards from Athens

After the first petition with 10.500 signatures, in June 2015 Google declared that "Panoramio will stay alive". Now just one year after that statement, they decided to close Panoramio forever. Step by step they destroyed their own platform !!! Google – Earth, User’s Statistics last year suffered a nervous breakdown ! Any sense of credibility and justice is totally lost, together with our work !!!!!!!!! In a normal & democratic world, this isn’t fare comportment.

We can still fight for the preservation of this platform! The address for your protest: Alphabet Inc. Attn Corporate Secretary 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 Email:

There is also our Latest Petition in, but recent history is proving, that only with petitions we can't do anything, if Google doesn't want to hear our voices & respect the hours we spent to create its empire.

In any case, there is a God, who’s seeing all this injustice !

Grande foto, Ana Maria! Perfeita. L. Um forte abraço, S.

Thank you very much for all the time spent in my gallery, for all the comments! Thank you for your beautiful pictures, which, thanks to Panoramio I discovered!

I am very sorry that Panoramio ends its operations.

I would like to once again leave my comment under your photo, unfortunately under only one (lack of time)!

Thank you again and I wish you all the best !!

Greetings from Poland, Marek Stanek

Of course, I LIKE this photo.

PS: It seems that Google management is finally decided to kill Panoramio in November 2016. I think that this does not give confidence in Google's reputation, in particular for future applications such as Google self-driving car.

Be certain that there is somewhere a poetic (immanent) justice.

Here my only final comment.

Best regards from Grasse, in France.

Thank you so much to all my friends for your nice words and appreciation!

I joined Panoramio at May, 2011. And it was a great time with you! Thank you for sharing many years, with everyone of us and so many emotions. Community Panoramio was a great family and place where there weren't divisions based on gender, age or religion, but only love of beauty and love for Mother Earth. It was a privilege and an great honor to meet you and see the most different and beautiful places on earth through yours photos. Now, through our friendly communication each of us has many, many friends. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for every moment when I lived here. My kindest regards to you and I wish you all the best in the world.

I say goodbye and I'm sure we will meet on other websites...

Herr Sonstiges Thank you very much for notifying my mistake - it's not Seekofel over Lago di Braies, but Seikofel (1908 meters) above the Kreuzberg pass in the Carnic Alps ... view of the Sexten Dolomites ....

For my all friends Panoramio, … it was a privilege and an great honor to meet you and see the most beautiful places on earth through yours wonderful photos.

Really, I can say that ye are the best and coolest photographers in the world … We lost PANORAMIO, but we won many, many friends.

Goodbye and all the best, I am sure we will meet on other sites …

LIKE + FAV.para PANORAMIO. Saludos de Eliseo.
