Serbian orthodox church of St. Lazarus according to the local legend was built in the period after the Battle of Kosovo. Historical sources confirms that the church founder, the prince Vladj Bijelic, lived in the 15th century. His son, the Duke Vukosav Vladjevic, after the death of his father expands the church. According to local legend, after being wounded in battle, the dying Duke Vukosav swore his fellow soldiers to carry him into the homeland and buried him in his father's church. Information about the church patrons are engraved on their tombstones, embedded in the church floor. The tombstone (stecak) near the altar is in honor of the church founder - prince Vladj . Its epitaph reads as follows -
"† Асе лежи кнезь Влаћь Биелићь у свои црькви у Светомь Лазару. Чловече тако да ниеси проклеть нетикаи у ме "
( "† Here lies prince Vladj Bijelic in my church, in St. Lazarus. Man, cursed be he who moves my bones." )
The tombstone (stecak) of Vladjs son, Duke Vukosav is in the church narthex. Its epitaph reads as follows -
„ † Асе лежи Вукосавь воевода Влаћевићь смомь друговахь дружиномь и загибох на размирној краине ко (са) мога господина и донесоше ме дружина на своју племениту баштину и да е проклеть тко ће ме такнути.“
( "† Here lies Duke Vukosav Vladjevic, with my comrades I have fought for my lord, and was killed at the dividing frontier. My comrades brought me to my noble heritage, and cursed be he who moves my bones. )
Near the church is the medieval and active Orthodox cemetery. Necropolises of stecak tombstones and church of St. Lazarus in year 2009 are proclaimed national monuments .
