During our travels both close to home and far away, my wife and I attempt to find peace in various natural settings which help us draw close to the Lord. With our camera we try to capture a glimpse of what we are experiencing and often find ourselves awe-inspired by what He has made. I would like to thank all the visitors from around the world who have taken time to view our extensive gallery. I would be happy to help provide anyone who has a like-minded desire and appreciation for natural beauty the directions to some of these beautiful places. Our prayer is that through these images as well as by other means, our Creator will call His people to Himself and be transformed into His likeness. May God bless you in your travels, photography and your personal lives. (Romans 1:20 & 12:2)

Chris, I was thinking backwards this was the end of your great trip. Wow, Maine, Cape May Point, California, Washington, Oregon, such unique landscapes. When people try to compare these great places I always say, each has it's own place in the beauty of nature. Check out my gallery south of San Francisco on Highway 1. Don't miss Point Lobos State Reserve and read my comments about this place. Your photography in a beautiful way covered many of the places I never photographed. Thanks for sharing. Warm regards, Richard

Chris, that's right I'm going backwards you most be coming back from Yosemite. No fire danger where we live. We slept right through the Napa earthquake. Our grandfather clock stopped at that exact moment that was interesting.

I hear you. It took us 3 1/2 hours to get from Sonora to the Bridge. The last 1 1/2 hours was sitting in traffic

Looks like we've been in many of the same places. Regards from a fellow national-traveler
