During our travels both close to home and far away, my wife and I attempt to find peace in various natural settings which help us draw close to the Lord. With our camera we try to capture a glimpse of what we are experiencing and often find ourselves awe-inspired by what He has made. I would like to thank all the visitors from around the world who have taken time to view our extensive gallery. I would be happy to help provide anyone who has a like-minded desire and appreciation for natural beauty the directions to some of these beautiful places. Our prayer is that through these images as well as by other means, our Creator will call His people to Himself and be transformed into His likeness. May God bless you in your travels, photography and your personal lives. (Romans 1:20 & 12:2)

Thank you Chris. Whenever I plan a hike in the Catskills and use Google Earth to check the terrain I find your great pictures, no matter how rugged or remote the place might be. You are also very precise in positioning your shots geographically. It's a joy to see your work!

Thanks Jorge. Interesting information. It seems every rock outcrop in this area has rich history. Regards, Chris

Chris, thank you for sharing these photos. My mom passed away on this very bridge in between your various photo taking (February 2009) and so this bridge and the area surrounding is very special to me. I live in Washington state so seeing these photos really means a lot to me. It looks like you frequent this area and I like how you've captured the different seasons and in several years of timespan. Cheers to you and your work!

Good Old American Town

Yep. And the pine trees start growing in the tracks right behind them :)

Sorry Chris, that was my old website. When I first posted that fall, I had called it Cold Run based on Scott Brown's book. When a friend wrote an article for Pennsylvania Magazine about waterfalls, the owner of Vinegar Run straightened out our inconsistencies. I didn't bother to change it knowing I would be rebuilding the site soon after finding out. Sadly enough, both Vinegar and Cold Runs are posted, but at least you can see this one from the road.

I am making sure to try and confirm names on topo maps & Google Earth before I add them anymore.

Great capture! F+L and hello from Pennsylvania, Neil

Thanks lizab & Thank you cheets99 for checking out my gallery!
