My sincere apologies to you if I do not reply to your comments as I have a degenerative eye problem so find it very difficult to see the print and photo's which I could see clearly only a couple of years ago. But I promise to try to reply if I can. I was an artist, and colour, light, beautiful scenes, facial expressions, unusual angles, flora and fauna formed an integral part of my life - and my country South Africa has a good share of all aspects of this beauty which I'd love to share with you as well. These photographs were all taken before my eyesight became too impaired. Hope you enjoy them!

Hazel Coetzee's conversations

L 29, F 6, looks impressive.

They are fairly unique when one sees them feeding Lizab. Of course this only happens when they are covered in sea water. The very small 'tentacles' capture pieces of detritus as the tide washes over them. At low tide the 'plates' of the barnacle close over to protect the organism. I'm so pleased that you looked at this photo. Thank you.

Greetings, Amelia

Thanks Luisa, for visiting and commenting this photo so nicely!

And thank you for the LK + FV11/64 + Fotógrafo FV, too, of course!

I do appreciate it!

Best wishes from Ria

Alfredo and Zyko, I have just noticed these un-replied to comments on here. Please accept my apologies. Nice to see you and read your comments even at this late time.

Kostadinos, nice to see you again too and happy you like this memorable sunset.

Best wishes, Herb

Thank you for your kind comment Anton

All the best LM

Thank you Lizab. Not as exciting as coral though. Another amazing thing is a barnacle. Most people just think they are crusts of white on rocks and probably dead. Here they are.

Like 12 von mir! Beste Grüße aus dem Saarland
