Hi Hazel. Welcome to my gallery. Those bricks are sand bricks. They don't make them anymore but they have certainly stood the test of time. The other side of the building is not fenced so I could get a clear shot but that was where the sun was in my face. I am going back for a closer look. There is a write up in google about Moore School if you are interested. It was built in 1896. Thank you for your visit. Warm greetings from Colorado, Margot
