My sincere apologies to you if I do not reply to your comments as I have a degenerative eye problem so find it very difficult to see the print and photo's which I could see clearly only a couple of years ago. But I promise to try to reply if I can. I was an artist, and colour, light, beautiful scenes, facial expressions, unusual angles, flora and fauna formed an integral part of my life - and my country South Africa has a good share of all aspects of this beauty which I'd love to share with you as well. These photographs were all taken before my eyesight became too impaired. Hope you enjoy them!

Hello Udo yes this is taken up the Esk River which is a 10 minute drive away.

All is well with me as far as the flooding goes ... where I live we have not had as much rain as out west of us ... the river system out there is flooding as they have had so much contant rain ... it will do the country side a great deal of good though ... just its very sad for those who have damage done to there homes ;(
