My sincere apologies to you if I do not reply to your comments as I have a degenerative eye problem so find it very difficult to see the print and photo's which I could see clearly only a couple of years ago. But I promise to try to reply if I can. I was an artist, and colour, light, beautiful scenes, facial expressions, unusual angles, flora and fauna formed an integral part of my life - and my country South Africa has a good share of all aspects of this beauty which I'd love to share with you as well. These photographs were all taken before my eyesight became too impaired. Hope you enjoy them!

I don't suppose you know the species name, Karl? I thought they might be T.clusiana or T.sylvestris.

Many thanks for your F. I too rather liked these tulips. ;-)

Hi Amelia,

Let me add my congratulations to those of the others for a magnificent 2nd place in TTT for March. I am really pleased for you!

Best Wishes Peter

Hello Александр,

There's room for a St Petersburg sign between the London and Sydney signs, and pointing directly at the camera! Glad you like the image!

I guess you thought I had overlooked your comment Steve Nooooo! I hadn't! :) sorry for a 3 day delay! thank you for a revisit, that is always nice to see, I appreciate your returned like award also. warm greetings, Sarah

I much prefer these single snowdrops to the ones at Attingham Park, Joe. The double snowdrops lose these beautiful green marking in the flurry of petals in the double variety. My much more expensive camera doesn't take as good macros as the Nikon D40. Maybe I'll think of getting it cleaned up! ;-)

Cheers, Amelia

Impressive Macro shot, friend. Cordial greetings, from Serbija -Belgrade,Mijodrag
