Interests: Vestiges of things that once were and no longer are, stubborn ways of life, stories that never get told -- especially throughout Nevada, Old California and the vibrantly faded American West.
If my photos are bad, well, just don't hold it against the subjects.

Nice shot, like, regards
I drove through Gabbs once a few years back, and it was like I was an alien, being watched like a hawk by every resident that saw me...it was very un-nerving. I would never go there again if I was alone, like I was before. Why ANYONE would want to live there is a mystery to me.

How DO you get a permit?
I've diddled there.
The old cemetery is near here. Went there a year ago. Talked to a very nice couple who live on the property, and they directed us to it. Also, if the bridge still goes across the river to the railroad tracks (it didn't a year ago), you can head east on the tracks, through the tunnel, and through the trees on your right is an old house, still standing as of 15 years ago.
Another "tolerant" liberal.
Радует,что сохранили!
Tacky!
Every building with a no firearms allowed sign should switch it to "easy target for maniacs" sign. WHEN WILL COMMON SENSE PREVAIL!?!?!?
