Previously known as 'ArtnScience' I am an Art-Loving, Scientist, Physician and Ethicist whose research, professional and personal interests are paired with a love of travel. I love going almost anywhere in the world, especially places where I can travel like a local resident and meet people. Lately, I travel by bicycle after getting to where I want my journey to begin. My camera helps me remember friends I make, local architecture and terrain through which I pass. I love all kinds of artistic endeavor; and, I enjoy painting, drawing and learning about Art History and Architecture. My combined interest in Art and Science made logical my web identity as **ArtnScience**. Leonardo Da Vinci is my personal hero. His scientific interests were as earth-shaking as was his art. Da Vinci's life personified Art & Science.

Beautifully framed church on the hill L+F Greetings, Kazia

Thank you very much for kind visit, Paolo. Best wishes, Jana

Thank you very myuch, Paolo, for kind visit and comment. Besr regards, Jana

Fascinating skies Amelia, thanks for sharing!

Cheers, Lizab.

Nick, Thanks for your comment and the LIKE. The bike path was on a rise ~450 feet above all of this. I had to use the maximum telephoto function of the camera to get the Salt workers huts to look like huts and not beetles on threads. Best regards. -Art

Nick, Thanks for the LIKE. In this photo we are getting closer to Venice. The boats may look like ancient vessels but after seeing lots of water craft in Venice I trust they are just worn out work boats of the kind that used to deliver milk, vegetables, and other mundane stuff until no repairs would prolong their existence. Best regards. -Art

Nick, Thanks for the LIKE. This is not far from where we started our bicycle tour. In less than 30 kilometers from this spot I could be in Austria. I absolutely loved cycling through the Dolomites on an old rail-trail. Best regards. -Art

Nick, Thanks for the Like. Venice IS a fabulous place, especially as evening arrives and the Cruise ship folks depart. Best regards. -Art

Nick, Thanks for the YSL for my night shot of beautiful Piran, Slovenia. All these towns have some similarity to Venice because they were part of the Venetian trading empire and that makes it certain that all I need to do is point and shoot. Best regards. -Art
