Ed, This place was used to be a quarry site for limestones used in 'cooking' apog. There were no less than four big old limestone ovens or 'pugon' in this area where limestones were fired using firewoods gathered from the surrounding mangroves and forest. Now I am planting mangroves and fruit trees to replenish what has long been gone. I built concrete water tank towers inside the three apog oven pits to store rain water. Hopefully the area will continue to transform into a natural paradise :-)
