Hi, I'm Berend, born in 1945 in The Hague but I live in Maassluis since 1969.
Previous I only made some pictures at holidays.
In 2007 I bought a digital SLR and started to make pictures as a hobby and not only at holidays. Since 2009 I try to photograph birds, it's like chasing but the birds stays alive.
Other hobbies are going on holiday to warm countries, walking with the camera in nature and running.
Pictures of my holidays are in labels starting with an asterix (*).
I hope you like my pictures and hope to get constructive comments as I have much to learn.

Hartelijk dank Lambert en Dirk Jan voor jullie erg complimenteuze reactie. Het is altijd een feest om tussen de bollenvelden te mogen fotograferen. Hier in de buurt zijn er massa velden, alleen moet het weer dan uiteraard wel meewerken. Dit weekend zat het mee. Mooie blauwe lucht, afgewisseld met stapelwolken. Het kon niet beter en ik heb dan wederom ook genoten van al die kleurrijke bloemen.

hoi Irma, het blijft vreemd dat er nu hekken om het monument staan die helemaal niet nodig zijn. het zou prima toegankelijk moeten zijn en ligt op ruime afstand van de A2...
