Hi, I'm Berend, born in The Hague but I live in Maassluis since 1969.
Previous I only made some snapshots during holidays.
In 2007 I bought a digital SLR and started to make pictures as a hobby and not only during holidays. Since 2009 I try to photograph birds, it's like chasing but the birds stays alive.
I've uploaded most of my photos in chronological order, so you can make the journey/hike with me.
Pictures of my holidays are in labels starting with an asterix (*).
I hope you like my pictures and hope to get constructive comments as I have much to learn.

I was on Panoramio for 10 years with great pleasure, I have seen thousands of photos of all parts of the world, portraits, scenes of life, objects, flowers, animals, architecture, curiosity. I established relationships, some of which I hope to maintain in the future, I do not know how and where. Someone then decided to break our nice "toy". I'm sorry. Dat vonden wij (man en ik) juist zo'n verademing in (voormalig) Oost-Duitsland, het ontbreken van westerse schreeuwerige overdaad. Juist het onbekende aspect is zo aantrekkelijk. Maar ja, is kom dan ook uit een puur roo/zwart nest, met de pest aan het kapitalisme. ;)

Keep Clicking Hi KC ~ I used to live by the edge of a forest and the deer used to eat everything!! Yes maybe some day some where some thing better than Pano will rise from the ashes ~ but don't hold your breath. In the meantime we've had our fun and I used to enjoy our exchanges. Maybe some viewers enjoyed what they saw for a moment or two ~~~ who knows? Hey ho ~~~ onwards and upwards~~~ good to have known you and I wish you all the best for your future ~~~
Veľmi pekne ďakujem za všetok strávený čas pozeraním mojich fotiek, daním hodnotenia ako aj pozretia mojich článkov alebo videií. Veľmi si vážim toho, že mi panoramio pomohlo spoznať krásu sveta prostredníctvom úžasných ľudí a ich pohľadov na svet. Pre nedostatok času ohodnotím len 1 fotografiu z galérie Like + Favourite a keď mi zvýši ešte čas, vrátim sa pozrieť ďalšie fotky. Bolo by mi však ľúto, keby pre nedostatok času, nikto nevidel moje úsilie z päťdesiatich letných výletov - preto tu je výber toto najlepšieho z leta 2016.

het voelt als een groot verlies het verdwijnen van Panoramio. Ook al voelde ik het diep van binnen al aankomen, het kwam toch nog onverwacht. Hierbij wil ik jou bedanken voor ruim 5 jaar prachtige foto's, en commentaren. Teunis, het allerbeste en nog veel foto plezier, wie weet komen wij elkaar nog wel tegen op een andere foto site.
