Hi, I'm Berend, born in The Hague but I live in Maassluis since 1969. Previous I only made some snapshots during holidays. In 2007 I bought a digital SLR and started to make pictures as a hobby and not only during holidays. Since 2009 I try to photograph birds, it's like chasing but the birds stays alive. I've uploaded most of my photos in chronological order, so you can make the journey/hike with me. Pictures of my holidays are in labels starting with an asterix (*). I hope you like my pictures and hope to get constructive comments as I have much to learn. PLEASE NO INVITATIONS FOR GROUPS!!! Greetings from the Netherlands.

This is also a wonderful picture with awesome colors and reflections, Karin! The clouds and landscape are very beautiful and you can see that spring is in the air! L + F! Best wishes, Anne

What a beautiful capture of these Canada geese, Karin! It's really a wonderful shot and I'm adding it to my favorites. Hope you are doing all right and to see you back on Panoramio soon! All the best, Anne

You're so right Derek, this chapel was one of the highlights of the museum. But it was so crowded that we stood next to each other. But it was worth the visit and we were looking for a long time at this wonderful ceiling. Greetings Berend

Labour was cheep in those days Derek, but the craftsmanship is amazing. Greetings Berend

If you realize that all these artworks are made while the painter(s) were laying at there back, it's amazing that it came out so beautiful Derek. Greetings Berend

You can't imagine how the workmen made this all in those days Derek. The most galleries were nicely lit, but still I needed ISO 3200. Greetings Berend

This Gallery of Maps is so beautiful (120 m long). The fresco's at the walls are all maps of (parts) of Italy and made from 1580 till 1583 Derek. Thank you, greetings Berend

That was the same as I thought when I saw this ceiling Derek. Greetings Berend
