As concerns this picture - what you see is a stave church, moved from somewhere in the area and the valley adjacent to Lillehammer.
The church was later reassembled at an open air museum in Lillehammer - the most famous open air museum in Norway.
The name of the open air museum is "Maihaugen" (observe spelling.)
The Norwegian name for "church" is "kirke" (observe spelling)
