I like your idea of displaying pictures of places of interest in the area you are looking at. As concerns this picture - what you see is a stave church, moved from somewhere in the area and the valley adjacent to Lillehammer. The church was later reassembled at an open air museum in Lillehammer - the most famous open air museum in Norway. The name of the open air museum is "Maihaugen" (observe spelling.) The Norwegian name for "church" is "kirke" (observe spelling) Best regards, Svein Tore Aurud
