Yes i was right there in 1990..It certainly was paradise!...I don"t think i will ever return as i fear it will spoil my memories of a pardise beach unspoilt..When i was here, there were 2 sets of Bungalows and the Imperial Boathouse had just opened..i actually went to their grand opening night, and i stayed there on my trip..I was 21, i had the world at my feet,i thought i had truly found heaven on earth...yes i sat right there,drinking meekong and pinching myself..smiling;-]...Thailand is paradise..

I also was on Samui in 1989 and we stayed at Choeng Mon Beach for a couple of days. The "Imperial Boat House" looked like a boat cemetery and not like a Hotel. A lot of memory come up if I see this picture, thank You Maiskolben.
Hallo - das ist ein sehr hübsches Foto von einer der schönsten Badestellen, die ich je gesehen habe, gepflegt und mit Badeplattform und Duschen -nur 10 min. wunderhübscher Spaziergang über einen Rasenweg vom Nolde-Museum, an heißen Tagen schwer zu empfehlen, viele hübsche Ecken - nur leider ist das Wasser nicht so lecker... Schade, daß das Luftbild so vergraut ist, vermutlich wg. der Grenze? Gruß, SX

86 war ich auch da und bin um die Insel herumgewandert - war teilweise noch ne andere Welt !!
