Thanks for the comment, Michael. Swimming reindeer is not something that everyone has experienced, so you have seen something very special. I can tell you that Skarbruket now has closed down. They lost too much money and decided to close. The fish factory in Årviksand, Årvikbruket, is still going well, so there is still some activity on the island. Have a nice summer whereever you are. Here is sun day and night, but quite cold (around 10 degrees).

We paid a visit on Friday 3. July and we were not disappointed this time either. Top food and service, like every time. Aniitta and the other waiters were nice and friendly. Top score again.

The picture is taken the 22. of december 2003. This is the darkest day of the year, it is just a little daylight and completely dark about 13:30. I have made it a little lighter, maybe they will accept it then for Google Earth.

At these latitudes the satellite antenna dish points down. That is the offset antenna, of course. An antenna with a centered microwave head will point up, although almost horizontal.
