Hi, your photo is very impressive, but i have strong reasons to believe the planets you mentioned in the photo title are not correct. The camera looks west from Alvor town to the island, the other side of the lagoon, circa 9 pm. Although not clear in the picture, the moon was, that day, in her first quarter phase, but it seems to me that Venus and Mercury were not so high on the sky. Could it be possibly Saturn and Venus?

Our guide explained there were twenty-two domes (eleven on the picture, eleven on the other side of the gate), to help remember that the Taj was made in twenty-two years.

According to our guide, the four towers tilt on the outside to prevent them to fall on the Taj in the case of an earthquake.
