This is the A2/A18 junction. From this junction left is Hambantota and the right turn is Matara. Statue is the legendary poet Gajaman Nona. As a mark of respect junction was named after her.
Bopathella is situated off Erathna Road from Kuruwita which is about 8miles from Ratnapura Town.Very nice place to visit and have a bath in fresh and clean, cool water. I am a regular visitor to this water fall since it is not far from where I live.
Since it takes the shape of bo-tree leave when the stream is full, it is called Bopathella.

This playground is between the town hall and the seevali Maha Vidyala which is just at the Kaluganga river bank.
