Ah, Colonius. This looks great at night from all over the city, have a great memory of a great view with this and the moon one cold winter evening on the fire escape of my hotel. Cologne can be so romantic sometimes.

Always amazed this place holds together, if you've ever been next to it in a wind you'll know what I mean. I have worked here before and stood over the top of reactor. Went to the opening tour and got Radio Forth to play Roxette - "The Look". LOL

As you drive back from Aberlady this view can be amazing, especially near sunset with the rays of the sun catching the water. A very long low flat view, the rocks lead your eye to the water and mountains in the back. Life will be strange one day without the old Cockenzie power station. Ugly to some and to others a landmark, marking home.

Restored and revived the Chinese Garden in Polson Park, Scarborough, UK. I have lots of great memories of this place as a kid in the 70's. To see it restored and revived and looking fresher than it did even then, is a great feeling. Its a wonderful, tranquil place to experience. I hope some of you can find your way there. It is now over 100 years old but you would never guess, especially in this Olympic year, China has never been more in our minds.
