Nice pic on a rare haze-free day! Good view of "The Turtle" rock formation on the right side of the pic - looks like a turtle's head in profile, about to bite Camels Hump.

This photo is several miles out of position. The correct coordinates are N 44° 26.730 W 073° 08.588.

I did the same. I visited the Eagle River Hotel about 15 years ago, and it had changed a bit to say the least! "No Children" signs, potted plants, and high-end accomodation. So different from the dingy place we remember. The old TV room on the first floor is now the 'Lounge". Good grief!

When I was on the 3rd shift, I remember walking the tracks toward Gilman on bright winter days to watch the elk. It was such a beautiful place. Remember "Reno's" in Redcliff? I tilted a few in that place.
