The photo is actually only the grid where the fence crosses the road. The fence itself is a combination wire netting and electric in places. From this point it goes about 25 kms south and about 5600kms north east to Jimbour in Queensland. It is not a rabbit fence, it is a dog or dingo fence, built in the 1880s.

It really is a flat boring drive interstate...

Interestingly the JETTY is "only 35 kilometres to the nearest beach at Haslam" ... so I am assuming the "TIDE" is always out ! That boat would do me, as I don't travel well on boats.

John Rollo discovered a 12 metre seam of coal near Yarragon in 1888. This pump was used in the mines during it's period of operation to 1895. The late Mr. HEC. Standing discovered and restore the pump to working condition.
