I always take my camera when I travel on business and choose the window seat. When traveling west of Denver, I enjoy finding places I have hiked or visited and taking pictures from 35,000. I like to post both interesting photos I have taken as well as the ordinary pictures of the places I have been. I am grateful to Panoramio for letting me share my little world with the world at large! Come visit my gallery and say hello!

I love red sunsets.

Like! Very good photo!

Thanks, Corey. Worth the drive through LA traffic to be present for this!!! Ryandenver

Thanks, Corey. This photo was taken on a tour of the new Weston Hotel opening up in November 2015. If you go to the official Denver Airport website and look around near the top of the page, I think it's on the right, you can see a link about the new transit center. If you click on the link you can see a fabulous animated movie about riding the light rail to the airport, getting off at the new light rail station, going through TSA and then flying away complete with Hollywood soundtrack. It's a 4 and a half minute movie worth watching. Ryandenver

Thanks, Corey. What you see on either side of the break is what we call the Hogback. It's actually the first uplift of the Rocky Mountains which is the continental plate being lifted upright to form the first ridge. It is a phenomenon which actually runs from Montana to New Mexico. The Sandia Crest outside of Albuquerque is part of this same uplift. Ryandenver

Thanks, Corey. Just a perfect winter morning with the sun coming up after an overnight snowstorm in Colorado. Ryandenver

Thanks, Corey. This was just a lucky day driving along the highway at sunet. ryandenver

Thanks, Corey. Not too far from your neck of the woods down south to Peoria, IL. It was great to see the future of green power up close. ryandenver
