Former sewage lagoon, turned into wildlife refuge. Home to deer, ducks, geese and other waterfowl, frogs, beavers, muskrats, songbirds, butterflies, other wildlife. One-mile walking trail around the lagoon; difficulty: extremely easy. Concrete boardwalk over the swamp, observation tower, and nature center. Various nature programs throughout the year. On the western outskirts of Edwardsville, IL.
