Hi western mn! This is really a wonderful shot of a prairie chicken during his courtship display! We have them also here in Texas in a very small number in the "Attwater Prairie Chicken Sanctuary". However for visitors it would be next to impossible to get a good picture of them. They usually are too far away or stay, more often than not, very well hidden. But that is really a good thing!
