I am a boozer. I like to drink big beers in copious amounts. Then, when I'm drunk enough to hold the camera steady, I take photos with my Nikon equipment. 2012 is going to be fabulous.

Hi Rue,

I am so pleased that you have found this, and enjoyed it so much. The explanation is quite simple, and no the photo was not staged, it was a normal evening stopping train.. The clues are all in the picture, and remembering that the side of the train looks pretty much the same anywhere, think of the light reflected from the side (especially the front 10 metres or so) while the shutter is open.... We get a light gradient from max at the point where the shutter opens, to zero at the point where it closes! Simple, and no photoshop!

Best Wishes Peter

Ja, das war an einem Morgen. Und dann hat sich der Nebel aufgelöst. War toll!
Stimmt, du bist weiter oben. In deinem Bild kann man den Punkt, wo mein Bild aufgenommen wurde, sogar sehen.

Dear Peter,

I am the leader of this month's NPC. I ask you to change your photo. The need was

  1. village church

2. Built till the end of XIII.th century.

Your capture shows a newer church.

Best wishes, Attila Tényi
